Is someone out there who knows what they are passionate about? How do you guys discover it? Do you guys know it already like from a very young age? Because to this date, I could not find my passion. I have tried many things but could never find out what I like to do. But while trying new things, I have found some secrets.

So how will you discover your passion?

My answer is: By Experimenting.

But the problem is, we all want to know what we are passionate about or meant to be passionate about before even starting. We don’t want to experience failures, confusion, or uncertainty. We don’t want to take risks and we all always want to be in our comfort zone. That’s okay. Everybody wants to remain safe, firm, and in their comfort zone.

It is our human nature that is trying to protect us from failures and uncertainty. It is our fear which makes us stay within our stronger walls. But you know, those stronger walls are also making us less capable of life.

I think the beauty of life lies in not knowing what is going to happen. Beauty lies in uncertainty. It lies in letting life unfold itself without knowing where it will be, surprise or shock. Unless you don’t try new things, you will never have new experiences. You will never know what you are good at.

While doing new experiments, many times you will be confused. On one side you will have your fear telling you to be in your safe walls, and on the other side, it will be you who want to find out what you like.

Now the question is, how to deal with this confusion?

The world is full of people who will tell you that life is out of your comfort zone while most of them have never stepped out of it. The world will try to pull you down. They will tell you at every step that whatever you do is not worth your time, and your money, and worst of all they will blackmail you emotionally to convince that you should not do experiments with your life. Even your willpower will not take you farther. Your fearful thinking will always pull you back to your safer walls.

With all these things happening around you, you will soon realize that you are living in your world of imagination. The only reason you feel scared is because of your fearful thinking. You feel uncertain, and insecure because you think in that way.

The world is literally what you believe it to be.

The sooner you realize it the lesser it will matter to you how you feel and what others say. You will start believing what your mind says, will start experimenting with new things and will start learning new things. And meanwhile, you will discover your passion one day.

Always remember, discovering your passion is a work in progress. If you think you discover once what you like then you are done. No, it’s not like that. Once you discover what you like, you can consistently work on it to make it better.

Remember, passion is something which we must feel. We must live our passion. Passion is always a journey, the more you experiment with new things, the better you will understand and feel it deeply.

So, when next time someone asks you what is your passion you better tell them it is a work in progress:)
